      About Us
What started in 1997 as a dream for a "Quilter's Oasis" - continues today as owner, Ann Brouillette, has grown Heart and Hand from it's 2,000 sq. ft. beginning in a small shopping center to it's new location - nearly 3,000 sq ft. - in a highly visible area of Sioux City's north side.

Easy access off Hwy 29
& a prime location have brought many new friends & customers through the doors. The new shop has been a thrill for current customers, as Ann has been able to expand the fabric lines. add more samples, have a dedicated classroom, and once again showcase her flair for picking interesting & unique gift items - items you won't find elsewhere in the City.

What make a shop like Heart & Hand a fun place to shop? The staff of course!

Vicki Anderson... has the most tenure of any H&H employee. When you work with Vicki - wear your tennies! She's fast on her feet & can change a display out in no time flat!
Deb Combs... has been with H&H a little more than a year. Deb is our resident artist - she's been involved with many of the Siouxland events featuring work by local artists. She works on many of the shop samples.
Jane Vereen... has been with H&H nearly 9 years. Jane organizes & teaches many of the shop's classes & workshops. Got a quilting question? - ask Jane!
Deb Aspleaf... a 3 year veteran of H&H - she is our resident Tote Bag Queen! Take one of Deb's classes & she'll get you "out of your box"!
Jan Cook...with 4 years at H&H - Jan does double duty at the shop & at her home with her long-arm quilting business - "Block by Block".
Ann Brouillette - "chief cook & bottle washer" - that's your title when you own a "small business"
Behind the scenes:
Tonya Merrill... has been part of H&H since practically the beginning - bookkeeping, unpacking inventory, cutting fabric - she does it all.

Cathy Habermann - my new title..."Web Queen"... I always wanted a crown.
